3000 informática has a vision for the future of libraries which contemplates the progressive establishment of a true world library network based on new IT developments.

That is why we launched our Latin America Partnership Programme back in 2003. Originally set to facilitate Latin American libraries’ access to our services and solutions, it has eventually served as a gateway for our products into Latin American markets; thus, 3000 informática may now proudly boast that it has entered into a number of strategic partnership agreements with relevant companies based on Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and Bolivia.

The launching of a Europe Partnership Programme then followed in 2004 – with the newly-enhanced, Java-based version of our Biblio 3000 ILS as its cornerstone. The programme is still running, and seeking for potential European partners with an interest in sharing our software solutions and services, as well as furthering our understanding of potential European users’ needs – such as consultancy services, customization, etc.

Our ideal European partner would thus be a value-added reseller with a good knowledge of the environment, and business practices based on quality and excellence. Partnership agreements are to be signed on an individual basis.

Resellers would be then typically provided with technical support, training, and all the tools and documentation that might be necessary to enhance general communication with customers. Support to resellers as provided by us would therefore include:

  • Marketing Support
  • Partners Start-Up Kit
  • Joint Marketing Development Plan
  • Partners Web Listing and Web Link
  • Joint Direct Marketing Campaigns
  • Communications Support
  • 3000 informática Logos
  • Joint Collateral Development
  • Partner's Space on the Archivo 3000 Newsletter
  • Sales Support
  • Leads from 3000 Informatica Sales Team
  • 3000 informática/Partner Joint Sales Calls
  • Not for Resale Demo Software
  • Product & Technical Support
  • Telephone Supportt
  • Global 24/7 Technical Support (Fee-based)
  • Training & Product Certification
  • On site Training (Fee-based)
  • Standard Training Classes (Fee-based)

University libraries are complex entities, having large collections and serving a huge clientele. To carry out various operations in a library effectively, there is a need for automation. Computer and communication Technologies have brought revolutionary changes in the information acquisition, processing, storage, retrieval and dissemination. Keeping in view the latest trends in Information Technology (IT), 3000 informatica has developed a Windows based Library Management Software named biblio 3000, which provides total solution for Library Automation. Biblio 3000 is designed using Client-Server Architecture which imparts extra strength to storage capacity, multiple access to single database, various levels of security, back up and storage facilities etc. This software has been designed after a comprehensive study of different library related functions practised in university libraries. It has FoxPro, MS-SQL Server, Oracle and others powerfull database engines as the back end. This user friendly software is quite easy to work with.

Let us take the complexity and high cost out of automating your library. Use this state of the art Web based system to build your collection and start circulating. No costly software, hardware, or networking nightmares. With a standard Web browser you can search, catalog, or circulate from any location on the Internet. Your data is always available, backed up and secure.
