First SEDIC National Award In the Field of Excellence and Innovation

“Being a longtime patron of SEDIC – the Sociedad Española de Documentación e Información Científica, or Spanish Society of Documentalists and Information Scientists–, 3000 informática enthusiastically supports, and sponsors – together with SEDIC’s other patrons – the First SEDIC National Award In the Field of Excellence and Innovation. Winners of the Award will be notified in a matter of days.

A panel of well-known, highly prestigious Art experts – the likes of Valeriano Bozal, or Borja Riera, among others – is therefore to announce its decision as to which Spanish Art Museum’s library, documentation centre or archive will have made this year’s most outstanding contribution to information management. Award winners will be recognized at the First SEDIC National Award In the Field of Excellence and Innovation Awards Ceremony on November 7 in Madrid’s Biblioteca Nacional (National Library).

The Awards Ceremony will be undoubtedly remembered as a landmark in the history of of SEDIC, whose commitment to the training of both librarians and documentalists spans 30 years. Also a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences among information scientists, SEDIC is a beacon of innovation and excellence in library and archive management.
